Shipping Policy

Last Updated: September 10, 2026

Wasatch Gallery LLC is committed to handling and shipping artwork with the level of care it deserves. Because we sell original artwork, fine-art prints, framed works, and other art products that may vary greatly in size, value, weight, and production method, shipping times and methods may differ from one order to another.

This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, packaged, shipped, delivered, and handled in the event of delay, loss, or damage.

Order Processing

Orders are generally processed after payment has been successfully completed.

Processing time varies depending on the type of product ordered.

Original artwork may require additional time for protective wrapping, framing preparation, crating, insurance, or coordination with a specialized carrier.

Fine-art prints may be produced after an order is placed and may require production time before shipment.

Framed artwork, oversized pieces, commissioned works, and custom orders may require additional preparation time.

Estimated production or processing times shown on product pages are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.

Original Artwork

Original artwork is unique and may require specialized packaging and shipping procedures.

Depending on the size, medium, surface, framing, and value of the artwork, originals may be shipped using standard parcel carriers, insured art shipping services, freight carriers, professional art handlers, or local delivery.

Larger or more valuable works may require custom boxes, reinforced packaging, or wooden crates.

Where appropriate, additional shipping arrangements may be communicated directly with the purchaser before shipment.

Fine-Art Prints

Fine-art prints may be printed and fulfilled after an order is placed.

Production times vary depending on the print material, size, framing option, availability, and fulfillment provider.

Some prints may be shipped directly from a third-party production or fulfillment partner.

Because certain products are made to order, production time should be considered separately from transit time.

Framed Artwork

Framed artwork may require additional handling and packaging.

Frames, glazing, mats, backing materials, hanging hardware, and protective packaging can add substantial weight and size to a shipment.

Oversized framed works may require freight shipping or specialized art transportation.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated based on factors such as:

  • Artwork size
  • Weight
  • Packaging requirements
  • Shipping destination
  • Carrier
  • Insurance requirements
  • Framing
  • Freight or specialty handling

Shipping charges may be displayed at checkout or communicated separately for unusually large, valuable, or complex shipments.

In some cases, oversized artwork may require a custom shipping quote.

Shipping Destinations

Wasatch Gallery LLC may ship to addresses within the United States and, where available, certain international destinations.

Shipping availability may vary by product.

Certain oversized, fragile, framed, or high-value artworks may be subject to geographic shipping limitations.

We reserve the right to decline shipment to locations where safe, reliable, or commercially reasonable delivery is not available.

International Shipping

International customers may be responsible for additional charges imposed by the destination country, including:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • Value-added tax
  • Brokerage fees
  • Customs processing charges
  • Local delivery fees

Unless otherwise stated, these charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping amount paid to Wasatch Gallery LLC.

The recipient is responsible for complying with the laws and import requirements of the destination country.

Customs inspections may delay delivery.

Wasatch Gallery LLC is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or other governmental agencies.

Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Please review your shipping information carefully before submitting an order.

If you discover an address error, contact Wasatch Gallery LLC as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered production, fulfillment, or shipment.

Additional charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, or unsuccessful delivery attempts may be the responsibility of the customer to the extent permitted by law.

Estimated Delivery Times

Any delivery dates or transit times provided by Wasatch Gallery LLC, a carrier, Shopify, a fulfillment partner, or another service provider are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Actual delivery times may be affected by:

  • Carrier delays
  • Weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Holidays
  • Labor disruptions
  • Customs processing
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Freight scheduling
  • Address errors
  • High seasonal shipping volume
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Wasatch Gallery LLC is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Tracking Information

When tracking is available, tracking information may be sent to the email address or telephone number associated with the order.

Tracking information is provided for convenience and may not always update immediately.

For freight, local delivery, or specialized art transportation, tracking may be handled directly through the carrier or delivery provider.

Signature Requirements

High-value, original, framed, limited-edition, or oversized artwork may require a signature upon delivery.

If a signature is required, the customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorized person is available to accept the shipment.

We strongly recommend that artwork not be left unattended outdoors or in unsecured locations.

Local Delivery and Pickup

Wasatch Gallery LLC may offer local delivery or pickup for certain artworks or customers.

Availability, timing, location, and any associated fees will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

Customers should not arrive for pickup until confirmation has been received that the artwork is ready.

Insurance

Original artwork and other high-value shipments may be insured during transit where appropriate.

Insurance coverage, carrier liability, and claim procedures vary depending on the shipping method used.

Customers should inspect packages promptly after delivery and report possible damage without delay.

Inspect Your Shipment Immediately

Please inspect your artwork and packaging as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If there is visible damage to the exterior packaging, document it before opening the package whenever possible.

Take clear photographs of:

  • The unopened package
  • Shipping labels
  • Damaged areas of the box or crate
  • Interior packing materials
  • The artwork
  • The frame, if applicable
  • Any visible damage

Do not discard the packaging, box, crate, labels, or packing materials until the claim has been resolved.

These materials may be required by the carrier or insurer.

Shipping Damage

If your order arrives damaged, contact Wasatch Gallery LLC promptly at:

info@wasatchgallery.art

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Description of the damage
  • Photographs of the artwork
  • Photographs of the packaging
  • Photographs of shipping labels
  • Any other relevant information

We may request additional photographs or documentation before determining the appropriate remedy.

Depending on the circumstances, available remedies may include repair, replacement, reprinting, refund, insurance claim processing, or another reasonable resolution.

Because original artwork is unique, replacement with an identical original may not be possible.

Lost Shipments

If tracking indicates that a package may be lost, please contact us.

We may need to open an investigation with the shipping carrier before issuing a replacement or refund.

Carrier investigations can take time, particularly for insured or high-value artwork.

A shipment will not necessarily be considered lost simply because tracking has temporarily stopped updating.

Stolen Packages

If carrier tracking shows that a package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please:

  • Check around the delivery location
  • Ask household members
  • Check with neighbors
  • Check with building management or reception
  • Contact the carrier

Please notify Wasatch Gallery LLC promptly if the package still cannot be located.

Responsibility for shipments shown as delivered may depend on the facts of the situation, carrier documentation, insurance coverage, applicable law, and whether a signature was required.

Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused, returned as undeliverable, or returned because of an incorrect address, Wasatch Gallery LLC may contact you to arrange redelivery.

Additional shipping, handling, storage, customs, or carrier fees may apply.

Where permitted by law, these additional costs may be deducted from any refund or charged before reshipment.

Returned International Shipments

International shipments returned because of unpaid customs charges, refusal, incomplete documentation, or failure to accept delivery may incur substantial return shipping, customs, handling, storage, or brokerage fees.

Where permitted by law, such costs may be deducted from any refund.

Changes or Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made after an order has entered production, framing, fulfillment, packing, or shipment.

Custom, commissioned, personalized, or made-to-order products may have additional cancellation restrictions.

Please see our Refund Policy for additional information.

Print Fulfillment Partners

Certain fine-art prints and related products may be produced and shipped by third-party fulfillment partners.

As a result, products from the same order may occasionally arrive in separate shipments.

Packaging, carriers, tracking methods, and transit times may differ between fulfillment locations.

Force Majeure and Events Beyond Our Control

Wasatch Gallery LLC is not responsible for shipping or delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, wildfire, earthquake, flood, natural disaster, government action, transportation interruption, labor disruption, carrier failure, customs delay, civil emergency, or similar events.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist affected customers where practical.

For your gallery, I would publish essentially this version. The sections on damage documentation, original-art replacement, custom freight, signature requirements, and third-party print fulfillment are the parts that generic Shopify shipping policies usually underserve, and they matter quite a bit when a cardboard box might contain a $75 print or a several-thousand-dollar painting.
